Notes:

• Abaqus Interactive and Analysis products use 64-bit addressing, unless noted otherwise.
• Abaqus/Standard uses double floating point precision; Abaqus/Explicit offers both single and double floating point precision. Abaqus/CAE and Abaqus/Viewer use single floating point precision.
• MPI based parallel execution of Abaqus/Standard and Abaqus/Explicit is available on all supported platforms except Windows/x86-32, which supports thread based shared memory parallel execution.

1. 3Dconnexion SpaceBall motion controllers are supported and can be used for view manipulation in Abaqus/CAE and Abaqus/Viewer.
2. Includes Abaqus/Foundation as well as Abaqus/Aqua and Abaqus/Design.
3. Includes Intel Pentium and Xeon, and AMD Athlon processors and use 32-bit memory addressing.
4. Includes AMD Opteron and Intel EM64T processors.
5. GLX/OpenGL required
6. Linux/x86-32 and HP-UX/Itanium platforms are designated as limited distribution status. These platforms will be qualified and supported using the same procedures as other platforms; however, Abaqus products and licensing will not be included on the Abaqus distribution media, but will be available by download when requested through your local SIMULIA office. 7. The Abaqus License Server is also supported on Solaris/UltraSPARC, HP-UX/PA-RISC, and IRIX/MIPS platforms. You can downloaded the License Server for these platforms from SOSS. See SOSS Answer 2099 for information about upgrading the Abaqus FLEXnet License Manager
8. Abaqus License server availability on IRIX/MIPS platforms is expected to be discontinued for releases following Abaqus 6.9.
