Test Configurations for Abaqus 6.7 and 6.7 Extended Functionality Products
View the test configurations for the Abaqus platform name you want to display by clicking the tabs below. The selected platform tab is highlighted with a red background. Expanded listings of configurations details used to qualify Abaqus on each test configuration are listed under each operating system heading in the table below. When a particular operating system was tested with more than one combination of other configuration variables, such as compilers or different MPI versions, the operating system will appear on more than one heading in the table below.
More detailed explanations of the table contents and terminology and are
provided after the tables.
A Scheduled for release with Version 6.7-1 & 6.7-EF
B Scheduled for release with Version 6.7-2 & 6.7-EF
C Scheduled for release with Version 6.7-2
Explanations of Table Contents and Terminology
Headings for each Abaqus Version 6.7 test configuration list the Operating System version followed by the “targeted release.” The targeted release indicates either the release of Abaqus with which a particular configuration has been tested or the targeted version by which testing is expected to be completed. While attempting to qualify listed configurations by the target release, unforeseen circumstances may force test completion to a later release or in extreme cases may lead to certain configurations being dropped.
All test configurations for a particular platform are supported using the same Abaqus software build. The Abaqus V6.7 System Requirements web pages define the ranges of configurations that are supported with the intent that any combination within the defined ranges will be supported. Given the large number of possible configuration permutations, even for a single platform, Abaqus tests only a sample of the possible configurations. Test configurations are carefully selected to assure we can effectively and efficiently support all the configurations within the specified ranges. Test configurations listed here represent the subset of supported Abaqus configurations which have undergone, or are scheduled for formal qualification testing.
The detailed records contain output from an enhanced version of the Abaqus system information script. The date listed in the individual system configuration records indicates the date the system configuration was recorded, not the date of qualification. The output includes the processor specification and the number of processors and other system parameters such as graphics details (if applicable), the amount of physical and virtual memory, and file system details. The “system requirement status section” of the output lists each requirement such as the Operating System versions, compilers etc. supported by this Abaqus software build, the Abaqus Products for which the requirement is applicable and the status of each requirement on the test system.
Final configurations depend on successful testing outcomes. Supported platforms and configurations are subject to change without notice.
