3SIMULIA intends to qualify and support Abaqus Version 6.6 with MpCCI 3.0.5 and FLUENT 6.3. However, delays with the official release of both MpCCI 3.0.5 and FLUENT 6.3 caused full qualification of FSI Co-simulation to lag the release of Abaqus V6.6.  In the interim, FSI Co-simulation using MpCCI with Abaqus Version 6.6 has been partially qualified using pre-release versions of MpCCI 3.0.5 and FLUENT 6.3. Until qualification can be completed with released versions of MpCCI and Fluent; SIMULIA recommends that interested FSI users continue to use Abaqus V6.5, MpCCI 3.0.4 and FLUENT 6.2.16.  Check back for new information which will be posted here as qualification progresses for FSI Co-simulation.

4 The listed interconnects have been tested with selected Tier 1 and Tier 2 configurations; however, each interconnect has not been tested with every processor and OS configuration. Investigation with Abaqus has shown little dependence of the interconnect operation on specific processor and OS variations.
5Set the environment variable INTEL_VERSION = 9.0 for version 9.0 compilers or set INTEL_VERSION = 9.1 for version 9.1 compilers. The Abaqus system information and verify utilities will produce a warning indicating the compilers are newer than the published requirement. See Answer 1777 for more information.
