Scanscot Technology  provides analysis software for structural, civil, and bridge engineering. Scanscot's Brigade product family uses the Abaqus Unified FEA product suite from SIMULIA.

SIMULIA engineers worked with Scanscot to develop a user interface for bridge design that is a vertical application based on the Abaqus/CAE platform. The user interface customization and workflow automation were performed via an open GUI toolkit.
