Introduction to Isight
Objective:
Users will learn the core graphical user interfaces of Isight including
the Design Gateway and Runtime Gateway.
The Design Gateway GUI provides a main desktop entry point into Isight. Users will gain familiarity with all it’s functionality including using the drag-and-drop mechanism to build process models;
define control flow and data flow; access the library to store, search and retrieve components. The Runtime Gateway enables users to execute, retrieve and visualize results. A series of labs introduces the user to several components including the simulation code, calculator,
e-mail, Excel, and Word activity components as well as the Design of Experiments, Optimization, Monte Carlo and the use of a Task Plan.
