Scenario Definition
SIMULIA Scenario Definition enables you to access current models, define simulation scenarios, manage simulation data and results, and collaborate on performance-based decision making.
Through the Scenario Definition, users are able to access secure workspaces to create and edit simulation scenarios. Experts can create company-specific templates using their simulation best practices and methods. These templates can be shared for regular use by a wide range of users. This ensures standard practices are adhered to, improving repeatability and reliability of simulations.
The product enables each simulation to be configured with a set of attributes, activities, and applications required to complete the simulation.

It also provides flexibility for integrating simulation workflows and executing simulations across distributed computing resources. The simulation processes and resulting data are fully searchable and the form-based interface makes it easy to share simulation details—such as simulation properties, parameters, execution status, and history of activities—and launch reviews of simulation results to team members and managers for collaborative, rapid decision making.

The capabilities of Scenario Definition can be extended by leveraging Isight and its related components for integrating simulation process workflows and performing design optimization. Additionally, the SIMULIA Execution Engine—which leverages Fiper technology—enhances the process of managing the distribution of simulations across existing computing resources.
The complete SIMULIA SLM portfolio improves the efficiency of performing multiple simulations, enhances data quality and traceability, secures simulation intellectual property, and accelerates collaborative decision making.
