Simulation Solutions for Powertrain
Noise & Vibration

Tuesday, March 10

– 4:00 PM EDT

Thursday, March 12

– 9:00 AM EDT

Join us for a free one-hour webinar to learn how you can leverage realistic simulation and drive crashworthiness and occupant safety innovation by utilizing the robust technology within the Abaqus Unified FEA product suite.

With 30 years of experience in delivering high-quality solutions, SIMULIA strives to provide our customers with the technical functionality they need to bring the best products to market. The Abaqus Unified FEA product suite enables automotive manufacturers to effectively address the challenges of today’s increasingly stringent safety standards by applying powerful simulation technology that saves both time and money.

Attend and Learn About:

  • Advances within Abaqus that dramatically improve performance and efficiency in large-scale powertrain linear dynamics analyses
  • Abaqus-specific features that can enhance and streamline post processing operations in frequency
  • Capabilities in Abaqus that account for nonlinear effects (such as assembly and operating conditions) in N&V results
  • Advanced capabilities in Abaqus—including viscoelasticity and structural acoustics—that can increase accuracy in predicted response
  • Substructure (“superelement”) technology within Abaqus that can be used in collaboration with AVL EXCITE to enhance engine dynamics analysis

Who Should Attend:

All designers, engineers, and engineering managers who are interested in exploring how to use advanced FEA technology and methods to improve and streamline their powertrain noise and vibration development process.

Presenter:

Brad Heers, Industry Lead – Automotive, SIMULIA

Brad Heers joined SIMULIA in 2000. He is familiar with CAE automotive techniques across a variety of subsystems and disciplines, and works globally with major OEMs and suppliers. Prior to joining SIMULIA, Brad worked for General Motors Corporation for six years in the CAE Chassis Analysis and Vehicle Dynamics group. Brad received his BSME from GMI Engineering & Management Institute (now Kettering University) and his MSME from Stanford University. He is a registered professional engineer.
