SIMULIA Visual Tips
SIMULIA Visual Tips short instructional videos for learning how to use different features of our products. The Tips are arranged by topic in various SOSS Answers. The close integration of Abaqus products means that some tips may appear in more than one SOSS Answer.
SIMULIA Visual tips are available to all of our licensed academic and commercial customers. To view them, you must be registered in the SIMULIA Online Support System (SOSS). Information about the SOSS and creating an account can be found at the SIMULIA Online Support System homepage.

Abaqus Integration Visual Tips
You can use the Mesh module of Abaqus/CAE to generate two-dimensional elements on a skin reinforcement on a face of a three-dimensional part instance and one-dimensional elements on a stringer reinforcement. Abaqus/CAE generates the skin or stringer elements when the underlying geometry is meshed; you cannot mesh a skin or stringer reinforcement independently. See Answer 3589 (Login Required)
